My first birth didn’t go the way I had planned, and looking back I wish I would have had someone to help me navigate the twists and turns of a first time birth. With my second child, I hired a doula. That doula was transformative for me emotionally and I never looked back.
In the moments after my third child was born I remember looking around the room and seeing the faces of those who had championed me through the long hours of labor. I knew in that moment there was no way I could leave the birth space, even if I never gave birth again. Birth is sacred, and holding that space is a gift.
During this transformative period of life, I am dedicated to providing compassionate support to individuals navigating this journey. Through extensive training with Cornerstone Doula Trainings, I have honed my skills to create an inclusive, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approach to doula work. My goal is to empower individuals to trust their intuition, find their voice, and feel supported as they embark on the life-changing experience of parenthood.
When I am not actively supporting families, you may find me exploring the outdoors with my children, immersing myself in a captivating mystery novel, or experimenting in the kitchen.
